From July 7, 2026, through the end of July 2026, the footbridge for pedestrians and cyclists in Česká Lípa will undergo reconstruction. Cycle Route No. 15 runs across the footbridge and connects Dubická Street and Boženy Němcové Street (see here). During the reconstruction, detours will be necessary. Due to the one-way streets, there are two detour routes. 

To reach the center of Česká Lípa, the recommended detour is via Dubická Street, Sedláčkova Street, and across the footbridge near the railroad bridge to Boženy Němcové Street—map here. 

When traveling from the center of Česká Lípa, the recommended detour is via Boženy Němcové Street and the footbridge near the railroad bridge to Studničkova Street, then continuing via Mánesova, Eliášova, and Dubická Streets—map here.

Alternatively, you can use the road bridge on Hrnčířská Street. However, you should expect car traffic there.
